Academics: Our students are encouraged to pursue academic excellence. Consistently, our graduates are at the top of the class with GPAs above that of the student body as a whole. Our students frequently pursue double majors or multiple minors to augment their major. Students are encouraged to pursue independent research and study abroad to broaden their knowledge-base and perspective.
Leadership: The Citadel Honors Program has a strong tradition of producing leaders for the Corps of Cadets. All up and down the chain of command, Honors Program students are in positions of responsibility in numbers disproportionate to the small size of our program.
Community: Your Honors classmates will be among the brightest and most intellectually active in the school. You can expect to learn from them as well as from your professors, both in class and out.
Personal Attention: Class sizes are small (generally less than 15 students) and a tutorial component of most classes ensures that students get individual attention.
