Hillcrest House: Home of the Honors Program on the JMU Bluestone campus. The first floor contains the offices of the administrative and advising staff and a number of meeting spaces. The lower level houses a computer lab and lounge available only to honors students. The second floor houses the offices of the Dean, Associate Dean, Director of Student Engagement, and the Xi of Virginia chapter office of Phi Beta Kappa.
Shenandoah Hall: Shenandoah Hall is one of the designated on-campus residences for honors students and houses the Honors Living and Learning Center. This Living and Learning Center challenges students to engage in a range of leadership and service activities. About 80% of entering honors freshmen choose to live in the hall, as well as a number of honors upperclassmen. Shenandoah Hall has study lounges, kitchens, entertainment rooms, and laundry facilities.
Apartments on Grace Street: This new apartment style building has designated on-campus living options for upper-class and transfer honors students in a combination of 1 and 2 bedroom units. Apartments come with a kitchen, fully furnished living room and bedroom(s), and 1 bathroom for every pair of residents. This housing option is conveniently located near the Forbes Center and the quad.
