The Honors Program provides students with a rich array of opportunities to challenge themselves and to foster their intellectual curiosity. The Program requirements have built-in flexibility for students to choose individual means of completing them. There are some non-course based options for completing Honors to complement our diverse offering of one- and three-credit courses. The Honors Program has a residential learning community, a student advisory board, and a student-run scholarly journal for students to participate in, along with regular on-campus social events. Students have access to an Honors lounge and computer lab. Throughout the year the program offers day trips that are chosen for their offerings of personal growth. These trips include New York City, opportunities for an overnight backpacking trip, a day trip to go rock climbing as well as getting to know the city of Ithaca, New York.
